Toddlers Unlimited was founded in April 1995 by Angela de la Cruz Palacio and Barbara Server Veloso, initially offering a summer playgroup for nine children between the ages of 1 to 2 ½ years at Barbara's residence in Ayala Alabang Village.
Despite the building setting, Toddlers Unlimited provides a very homey environment for children. In comparison to other pre-schools in the Philippines that focuses primarily on academics, Toddlers Unlimited is appreciated because of its very relaxed atmosphere and more progressive approach to learning. Following developmentally appropriate practices as guided by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which is based in the U.S., Toddlers Unlimited encourages not only the child's active exploration and interaction with peers, adults, and materials, but the active involvement of parents in the school setting, as well.
Toddlers Unlimited has experienced steady growth throughout the years due largely to the support of their clients and peers. With a successful program that integrates the physical, social, cognitive and emotional development of children, we have earned the respect of parents and educators alike. The parents, some of whom are teachers from the UK, Germany, United States and Japan, are very pleased with the school's program and their children's progress. Meanwhile, educators from neighboring schools continue to recommend Toddlers Unlimited to parents looking for a reputable nursery school for their toddlers. Today, both branches of Toddlers Unlimited have grown to a student population of more than a hundred children, serving local children and children of expatriate families. Toddlers Unlimited is staffed by a total of 14 to 16 teachers who are dedicated to the intellectual, social and emotional development of the young children under their care. They are warm, gentle, loving and sincere. Toddlers Unlimited also employs a highly motivated staff of teacher aides and an administrative assistant. Toddlers Unlimited currently offers an infant stimulation class for babies 6 months to 12 months old, toddler classes for 1- and 2-year olds, preschool classes for 3- and 5-year olds, as well as a day-care center for children at the Makati Branch. Some other programs we have offered include Arts and Craft Classes, Oil Painting classes for older children and adults, Saturday Toddler Playgroups, Science Workshops, Cooking for Kids, Storytelling Sessions, and Filipino tutorials. We also conduct teacher, parent and yaya (caregiver) workshops. In July 2007, Toddlers Unlimited began offering the Galileo Enrichment Learning Program. It is an after school enrichment program that aims to improve the Math and English skills of students from Nursery (3 years old) to Grade 6. This is offered in both Alabang and Makati branches.

Our aim is not simply to prepare children for big schools but to form minds that will be critical, that would question and not just accept everything that is presented to them. This is why we encourage children to explore, discover, and come up with their own answers and ideas rather than expect them to give responses learned from rote or paper & pencil drills.
