A typical classroom at Toddlers Unlimited is one rich in a variety of learning materials. Our materials are of the best quality, many of them imported from Japan, United States and Germany. >> Click here to go on a virtual tour.
Each classroom is divided into different learning areas, where materials that can be used in specific ways can be found.
There is the Reading Area, which is well-lit and is home to a wide range of books (from song books to story books to junior encyclopedias).
The Blocks Area is where the children are allowed to explore concepts of construction as well as some forms of imaginative play, as they adorn their buildings with people, animals or furniture.
Another good place that encourages imaginative play is the Dramatic Play Area, where the children are allowed to act out story themes or experiences that they have had at home. This area often has a play kitchen, some dress-up clothes, and puppets.
The Manipulatives Area is where children are encouraged to develop fine motor coordination through the use of math and language materials such as puzzles, sorters, pegboards, alpha-links and letter bingo kits.
Other places in the classroom are the Science and Art Areas where the children are provided with opportunities to explore materials related to Science and Art.
